Join Our Virtual Pre-Retirement Seminar

Preparing for retirement is one of the most important things you will do. As you plan for this big decision, COAERS is here to help. Our series of virtual Pre-Retirement Seminars is now available to members.

We invite active members who are approaching retirement to learn about the retirement process and offers important information about your retirement eligibility, retirement benefit payments, service and service credits, and much more.

Registered attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive, live web presentation hosted by our Member Services team. The virtual event will also feature presentations from the City of Austin Benefits Division regarding retiree health benefits, and from Empower Retirement regarding the City's Deferred Compensation Plan.

Who Should Register?

• Active City of Austin employees who are within two years of retirement.

How to Register

• Members must register through your MemberDirect account.
• Login and click the "Seminar" tab under Education to register. 

If you don't have a MemberDirect account, sign up today by visiting www.coaers.org and click enroll.  

What You Need to Join the Virtual Seminar

• You will receive an email from our COAERS with the seminar details and Zoom link to join.
