COAERS is pleased to introduce Will Munro as the newest member of our Investment team. Will joins COAERS as an Investment Analyst, bringing a strong foundation in institutional investing and a thoughtful, analytical approach to portfolio management.

Prior to joining COAERS, Will gained experience at the State Board of Administration of Florida, where he supported investment teams across public and private markets. His work spanned fixed income, private credit, and multi‑asset credit strategies, with responsibilities that included manager evaluation, portfolio monitoring, fund analysis, and market research. His exposure to diverse asset classes and investment processes equips him with valuable insight as he steps into his role at COAERS.

Will holds a Master of Science in Finance from Florida State University, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, graduating Cum Laude. During his time at Florida State, he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the College of Business, contributed as a Portfolio Manager in the Student Investment Fund, and was awarded the Lawrence and Kamrin Lazenby Scholarship for academic excellence and leadership.

Before pursuing graduate studies, Will attended Kenyon College, where he was a member of the football program. His experience as a student‑athlete helped shape his leadership style, work ethic, and collaborative mindset.
