Unlock your potential and prepare for your financial future at the inaugural Financial Wellness Forum: Empowering Active Members hosted by COAERS. The event is designed to bring resources and education to current City employees about financial and retirement planning!

The 2023 Financial Wellness Forum will be held in-person at the City of Austin Permitting and Development Center (PDC) building's event center.

Who Should Attend

Whether you're just starting your career, in your mid-career, or approaching retirement, it's never too early or too late to prepare. This forum for active City employees will provide you with the knowledge and tools to help you make informed financial decisions, understand your retirement readiness, and develop a plan.

Sessions

The forum will consist of a series of sessions presented by experts from COAERS, Foundation Communities, and Empower Retirement. The sessions are designed to provide insights into various aspects of financial and retirement planning.

The financial wellness event will include the following sessions:

10:00 am - Retirement Readiness 101: Smart Retirement Planning for any Career Stage, by COAERS
11:00 am - Understanding Deferred Compensation, by Empower
11:30 am - Financial Literacy 101: Building Your Financial Future, by Foundation Communities

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenters. Each session will be followed by a Q&A with the presenter to allow for audience questions.
