COAERS Issues RFP for Actuarial Services

AUSTIN, TX – The City of Austin Employees’ Retirement System issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for comprehensive professional actuarial services. The $3.4 billion fund is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide full-scope services that abide by the Code of Professional Conduct published by the American Academy of Actuaries to the retirement system as outlined in the RFP.
Firms with demonstrated expertise in actuarially determined contribution rate public pension plans, compliance, and integrity are encouraged to apply.
Proposals are due for submission by 5:00 pm Central Time on July 30, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened on July 31, 2025, at 12 pm, Central Time via virtual meeting.
