When can I retire from COA ERS?
Members are entitled to receive a monthly retirement benefit from COA ERS when they meet the following age and service eligibility requirements and apply for retirement:
- Any number of years Creditable Service at age 62*
- 20 years Creditable Service at age 55
- 23 years Creditable Service at any age
*To meet this retirement eligibility, a Member must either be an active-contributing Member at age 62, a terminated vested Member, or a proportionate Member with five years combined Creditable Service.
