What do I need to do if I am interested in receiving a calculation of the cost to purchase Creditable Service?
You will need to complete a "Request for Purchase Calculation Estimate” form. This request form is available on our website or by calling the Retirement Office. Following verification of information and eligibility of purchase, a Member Service Specialist will mail a calculation to you at your home address on record. Please note that service in another proportionate system may affect any service purchase a Member makes at COA ERS. The cost of creditable service may be increased later if proportionate service is used to qualify for retirement. All purchase calculations are subject to audit and correction.
