This calculator is provided by the City of Austin Employees’ Retirement System (COA ERS) solely as a tool for members to obtain unofficial estimates of the cost of purchasing creditable service. I acknowledge and agree that:

1. This calculator provides only an ESTIMATE of purchase cost; and

2. COA ERS has no liability or obligation, either legal or equitable, to honor any ESTIMATE of purchase cost as a result of using this calculator.

The actual cost for all service purchases shall be determined by COA ERS staff in accordance with the laws in effect at the time of purchase. Before making any final decisions concerning retirement or a service purchase, I should contact the COA ERS staff.
